Service Description
For both the beginner and experienced shooter, this first class in the rifle series will take you through the basic concepts of rifle shooting and gunnery in a way you've never experienced. Your skills will be enhanced and refined as you find yourself one step closer to becoming a marksman. "Introductory Rifle" is a 4-hour marksmanship class. The maximum class size is 16 marksmen, allowing for more personalized and productive instruction. The class is held at the Webb River Valley Sportsman Club, located 1 mile down Canton Point Road in Canton. Introductory Rifle Topics: - 4 Universal Firearms Safety Rules - Why You Train and Situational Awareness - Range Rules - Weapon Familiarization and Operation - Gunnery Concepts (Zero Theory, Trajectory, & Ballistics) - Shooting Stance and Posture - Weapons Sighting and Zeroing - Trigger Concepts and Shot Anticipation - Shooting Drills What to Bring to Class: - AR-15 Rifle (If your preferred personal rifle is of a different caliber, please specify prior to the class) - 5 magazines (minimum) - Magazine carrier/pouch - Rifle sling - Ear and eye protection What is Provided: - 200 rounds of 5.56 ammunition (unless other caliber requested) - Targets - Rifle sight adjustment, if needed -Water bottles and snacks
