Service Description
For the more advanced shooter and those who have completed "Basic Rifle", this third training in the rifle series challenges your skills beyond the basics to incorporate real-life civilian battlefield and self-defense shooting concepts. Your skills will be enhanced and refined as you find yourself one step closer to becoming a proficient marksman. "Intermediate Rifle" is a 4-hour marksmanship class. The maximum class size is 16 marksmen, allowing for more personalized and productive instruction. The class is held at the Webb River Valley Sportsman Club, located 1 mile down Canton Point Road in Canton. Intermediate Rifle Topics: - 4 Universal Firearms Safety Rules - Why You Train and Situational Awareness - Range Rules - Turns - Changing Body Positions - Shooting from Prone - Cover and Concealment - Shoulder Transitions - Limit of Advance - Eye, Shoulder, and Base Line - C-Clamp - Dynamic and Scramble Shooting - Shooting Drills What to Bring to Class: - AR-15 Rifle (If your preferred personal rifle is of a different caliber, please specify prior to the class) - 5 magazines (minimum) - Magazine carrier/pouch -Rifle sling - Ear and eye protection What is Provided: - 200 rounds of 5.56 ammunition (unless other caliber requested) - Targets - Rifle sight adjustment, if needed - Water bottles and snacks
